Orsen Björk
Orsen Björk builds his work around scenes in which the human figure gains presence through reduction. His compositions simplify gesture, space and detail until only what is necessary remains for an image to hold character: a posture, a table, an implied conversation, a room in silence.
His work stays closely connected to everyday life while avoiding literal narration. Each piece seems to pause a minimal instant, where colour, proportion and stillness create a recognisable atmosphere. Even in his simplest portraits, there is always the sense that the scene continues beyond the frame.
